Every week I put together a short list of Kickstarter projects I’m excited about. Some of them are accessories, some are games, but they all have something to do with tabletop gaming. So without further ado…
Why am I excited?
Who doesn’t love new dice? Every time I go to the FLGS I always peruse the dice case. I never really know what I’m looking for, it’s been the same assortment since D&D was still put out by TSR. Stranger still is that once or twice a year when I actually buy a set. Well AKO Dice are what I’ve been looking for. And the black & white set has a great Star Wars feel.
What else do you need to know?
The only pledge level left is $15. This gets you a pair of AKO Dice in the finish you desire. You almost out of time. This project will be funded on March 3rd, 2015.
From the designer:
“AKO DICE utilizes a redesigned dice pip with custom engraved artwork on 16 mm 6-faced dice. Each side is flat with beveled edges, contributing to a sleek, comfortable feel for game play. Rather than using traditional dice pips, each number (1-6) represented by line on each side. To continue the design, each side are connected by pip line, creating links between the numbers.”
